Eligibility
In an effort to keep KAP a safe option for those who need it, review the following list of our exclusion criteria before getting in touch. Following your self-assessment, we will evaluate eligibility further during the initial steps of our intake process.
Exclusion Criteria
Ketamine is not advised if you:
Are pregnant and nursing
Have poorly controlled or untreated hypertension, cardiovascular problems, hyperthyroidism, severe sleep apnea or respiratory disease
Have a BMI of >30
Have a history or seizures / epilepsy
Have Parkinson’s
Have a recent traumatic brain injury (TBI)
Experience an acute manic, hypomanic, psychotic episode, or have been diagnosed with schizophrenia
Are allergic to ketamine
Past negative experiences with psychedelics are helpful to know about, but they do not exclude you from KAP.
If you have been diagnosed with a dissociative disorder, personality disorder, bipolar disorder, or panic disorder: KAP might still be a helpful option for you but will require close collaboration with your therapist or psychiatrist.
KAP has been shown to be a highly effective supplement to regular therapy. Candidates must already be working with a psychiatrist or psychotherapist in addition to this treatment.
