Eligibility

In an effort to keep KAP a safe option for those who need it, review the following list of our exclusion criteria before getting in touch. Following your self-assessment, we will evaluate eligibility further during the initial steps of our intake process.

Exclusion Criteria

Ketamine is not advised if you:

  • Are pregnant and nursing

  • Have poorly controlled or untreated hypertension, cardiovascular problems, hyperthyroidism, severe sleep apnea or respiratory disease

  • Have a BMI of >30

  • Have a history or seizures / epilepsy

  • Have Parkinson’s

  • Have a recent traumatic brain injury (TBI)

  • Experience an acute manic, hypomanic, psychotic episode, or have been diagnosed with schizophrenia

  • Are allergic to ketamine

Past negative experiences with psychedelics are helpful to know about, but they do not exclude you from KAP.

If you have been diagnosed with a dissociative disorder, personality disorder, bipolar disorder, or panic disorder: KAP might still be a helpful option for you but will require close collaboration with your therapist or psychiatrist.

KAP has been shown to be a highly effective supplement to regular therapy. Candidates must already be working with a psychiatrist or psychotherapist in addition to this treatment.
